What is Cultural Competency and how to does it apply to the work that we do?

Selected Online Training Sessions We’ve heard your requests for online training! This year we will offer a selection of classes through our Direct Course program. You can complete two hours’ worth of lessons and that will count for one of your Quarterly Trainings for the year. If interested, please email Eileen Patrick to receive a course listing.

Community Training Options Looking for additional topics? If you find an educational opportunity in the community and would like to receive credit for attending, please speak to your supervisor for approval.

The Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities (CIDD) 2019 Community Talk Series is always a valuable experience. These sessions are pre-approved for Quarterly Training credit, but you must RSVP to both the CIDD (click here) AND The Arc (as described above) to receive credit.
