What is Music Therapy? Music therapy is a clinically proven way to improve communication, social, cognitive, and motor skills.

Why choose Music Therapy? Children and adults can enhance their health and wellness as well as build community and social connections through Music Therapy. Individual or group sessions can help participants address goals that are important to them and will improve their quality of life.

Triangle Disability & Autism Services provides quality music therapy services by addressing individual needs and helping to build community through music.

Services

Individual Sessions (Ages 5+ years old)

  • Improve speech/communication, motor, and cognitive skills
  • Build skills through singing, songwriting, instrument playing, and movement
  • Promote social skill building and emotional regulation

Group Sessions (8-17  years old*) 

  • Teens (13-17 years old) Social & Communication Group
  • Children’s (8-12 years old) Social & Cognitive Group

 

  • Every Voice Choir (Ages 18+)
    • Participate in group singing in a social environment
    • Rehearsals in Raleigh and Cary
    • Perform in the community and at Arc events

Hailey McCulloch, MT-BC, Music Therapist/Every Voice Choir Director, a native of Raleigh, received her Music Therapy Equivalency Certificate from Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College and her undergraduate degree in music performance from Campbell University. Hailey has clinical experience working with children and adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities, adults and teens with mental illness, and individuals with Parkinson’s, stroke, and traumatic brain injuries. An active member of the American Music Therapy Association, Hailey has been a presenter within the music therapy and healthcare community on topics such as vocal health and interdisciplinary collaboration. When not working, she enjoys performing throughout the Triangle.

Pay Rates Start at:

$40 Initial Assessment (45 Minutes)

$70 Individual Therapy Session  [$65 for our members*]

Group Therapy:  $160/4 weeks       $140/4 weeks for our Members    Space is limited! 

Not a member? Join today!  Memberships start with as little as a $15 donation.

Reduced Fees may be available based on income. 

Payment

Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment.  Checks should be made payable to “Triangle Disability & Autism Services”

Cancellation Policy

Your appointment is time we have set aside for you.  As a courtesy, if you are unable to meet at this scheduled time, we ask that you contact us at least allow 48 hours in advance.  If you do not attend your appointment or do not cancel within 24 hours of your scheduled time, you will be required to pay $25.
